Description

Pathways to Employment gave two hundred, 16-19 year olds the opportunity to sample a two day course to introduce them to the world of work and enhance their understanding. The Environment Agency developed a traineeship for two young people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities. The South Asian Voluntary Organisations Network established a partnership network as a direct result of demand, from South Asian groups, to support organisations and individuals involved in voluntary and community activities. The New Arrivals Programme provided support for new arrivals to the UK, including language, confidence, orientation and meeting employers

Beneficiaries

16-17-year-olds in danger of exclusion from school, BME groups, People from disadvantaged areas (top 10% most deprived wards)
