Description
Sharing Voices (Bradford) focussed on assisting individuals with mental health issues from Black and Minority Ethnic Communities to articulate their perceptions and experiences of barriers in accessing employment.
B-EQUAL funded an 'Employment Development Worker' who built relationships between these people and statutory agencies, voluntary organisations and local businesses.
Sharing Voices (Bradford) has empowered individuals to establish self-help groups, increasing their social role and giving them a voice to say what they want and how others in similar situations can be helped.
