Description
Common Ground as a whole aims to promote policies and practices which will encourage and support equality and diversity in the workplace. Mentoring, which has seen significant growth in recent years, is acknowledged to be a way of achieving these aims. However this method of intervention is often delivered without further guidance, support or training. The increasing importance of this technique is because it supports people to manage their own learning, in order to maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and become the person they want to be.
