Description
The Bradford District faces an acute workforce shortage in many areas of the health and social care sector, following the national trend. The POSH project identified and focussed on the main themes of recruitment, retention and career progression for individuals from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, including those with disabilities.
The vision of Bradford NHS for achieving the key health improvement requirements included creating employment opportunities for the population the organisation serves. The POSH Project proactively engaged with a range of stakeholders to create a culture of empowerment ensuring that employment opportunities are available to all.
