Rainbow Economy has been carrying out parallel delivery and research projects exploring innovative ways of breaking down barriers to business creation and enterprise development, particularly for marginalised groups.
Objectives
Develop joint, innovative approaches and to share and develop common materials and activities
Build community-based organisations that focus on the engagement of disadvantaged groups
Develop and implement strategies that promote empowerment and equal opportunities for disadvantaged groups, enhance partnership communication and the streamlining of information and innovation.
Planned outputs
Identify common methodology through research of the skills present within the target groups
Develop model solutions for creating and managing cooperatives
Analysis of the ethnic enterprises and discovery of tools to foster the birth and support for ethnic enterprises
Common model solutions for business training for the management and staff of the ethnic enterprises/cooperatives
Development of different models of festival markets and research on the economic impact of these markets.
