Concentus, ASPIRE - Asylum Seekers Pursuing Integration, Refuge and Empowerment
Description
Concentus has been building on the broad expertise of its four transnational partners. Its aims are to tackle the issues facing asylum seekers and refugee and community organisations to promote the successful integration and reintegration of the target group.
Concentus has been focusing on these activities:
- Undertaking comparative studies of national legal and social frameworks and systems
- Exploring methods and techniques used to integrate/reintegrate asylum seekers/refugees
- Developing innovative ways to raise awareness and challenge negative stereotypes
- Undertaking joint development and study visits, and examine networking potential.
Thematic workshops are underway which have been exploring these issues.
