Definition: Promoting lifelong learning and inclusive work practices which encourage the recruitment and retention of those suffering discrimination and inequality in connection with the labour market
Theme E partnerships address the extension of lifelong learning. Many have focused on ways of engaging older people in the labour market, and others have worked in community and family-based learning, and in initiatives specifically directed at people with disabilities and other priority target groups. Products include an equal opportunities guide for SME managers, family learning materials, a curriculum development via web board tool, lifelong learning and active ageing research, learning materials, guides and handbooks, websites, good-practice reports, sector-specific materials, DVDs and CDs.
