Due to Scotland having a different legal, political and institutional framework to the rest of the UK, there was some uncertainty amongst practitioners, agencies and asylum seeker parents and young people as to the rights and responsibilities of children and young asylum seekers or refugees. A web-based resource containing clear and accessible information was seen as a way of addressing this need.
