Literacy Project, ATLAS Scotland - Action for Training and Learning for Asylum Seekers
Description
The key activity of the project has been the development of new ESOL and literacy support materials for non-literate ESOL learners. All teaching is conducted in small groups and/or on a one-to-one basis. As lack of acceptable childcare is frequently a barrier to women accessing learning opportunities, there is an on-site nursery that provides free childcare if required.
