Hertfordshire County Council, ACE National - Action for Carers and Employment
Description
Hertfordshire County Council's ACE Project ran a casework service for carers who had difficulties getting the right package of services to support them either staying in or returning to work. Focusing on two areas of the county in the initial phase, two caseworkers took referrals following a carers’ assessment. As well as the service-focused casework service there was a Work and Benefits Adviser service for all working carers in the county.
