Description
To help refugee teachers to quickly access routes to employment, there was a need to increase asylum seeking teachers’ access to accreditation and requalification so that they could obtain a post quickly once eligible to work.
In April 2004 the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) delivered teacher credential evaluation training at Scottish Refugee Council’s office to 6 careers guidance workers and teachers who were working on refugee teacher accreditation issues.
